EMCH Foundation Scholarships 

The EMCH Foundation Scholarship program was established in 2000.  Any employee of Banner Health Systems in Morgan County is eligible to apply.  The amount of each Scholarship will vary according to the number of applications received, and funds available.  Completed applications with attachments must be received at the EMCH Foundation office, 242 Cambridge, Brush, Colorado 80723 by April 30 and October 30.

Medical Staff Scholarship 

The EMCH Foundation Medical Staff Scholarship was established in the winter of 2009.  The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior from an area high school who will be attending college in Colorado with plans to become a physician or advanced practice provider (PA or NP). The amount of the scholarship will be dependent upon funding, but has traditionally been $1,000.

Carla Pacheco — Carla is currently an integral part of the lab at EMCH and is studying at Arapahoe Community College to get her Medical Laboratory Scientist degree.

Kayla Pierce — Kayla works as an assistant in the rehabilitation/therapy department at EMCH and is currently working on getting her Physical Therapy Assistant certification at Morgan Community College.

Fall 2019 Recipients

Terri Spooner — Terri is the Senior Nursing Manager at EMCH.  She is currently working towards her master’s degree in Nursing Leadership at Western Governor’s University.

Jessica Manzano — Jessica works in the lab at EMCH, and is furthering her education to obtain her bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science at the University of Cincinnati.

Whitney Frasco — Whitney graduated from Fort Morgan High School and is currently a student at Regis University in Denver studying neuroscience with the goal of becoming a child psychiatrist.

 

Courtney Seele — Courtney is a Wiggins High School graduate and works for the Morgan County Ambulance Service.  She is studying at Morgan Community College with the goal of transferring to UCCS to continue working towards her goal of becoming a pharmacist.
