EMCH Auxiliary
EMCH Auxiliary has over 20 active members, who provide volunteer services to East
Morgan
County Hospital.
The hospital gift shop is provided and staffed by the Auxiliary members and is filled with unique gifts for
any occasion. Members also provide other volunteer service to EMCH, including filling patient care bags and
volunteering at hospital events including the Foundation Fall Affair. Funds raised from these events and the
gift shop are re-invested in the hospital for a variety of needs and capital projects. Most recently, the
auxiliary made a $10,000 donation to the hospital expansion project as well as a $5,000 donation to the
employee patio area. They have also provided equipment to the therapy department, onesies for newborns
delivered at EMCH and will be providing funding or artwork for our newly expanded and remodeled emergengy
department. Annual scholarships are also made available to local high school students entering the medical
field.
Tree of Love
The Tree of Love is in honor of your living or deceased family or friends. Donations may be made in
acknowledgment to the recipient of appropriate party. A picture is printed and put in a small frame and hung
on
the Tree of Love just outside the gift shop in the hospital. A card is sent to the family of the recipient
of
the memorial. Anyone can use this fund. All money from the memorial fund goes to the East Morgan County
Auxiliary and eventually goes back to the hospital.
